Igor Yatskar, M.S., PT is a distinguished healthcare professional and visionary leader who has dedicated his career to enhancing community-based care.

As the founder, owner and President of Elmwood Healthcare, Mr. Yatskar oversees a diverse portfolio of services designed to meet the needs of individuals across all stages of life. Established in 2003, Elmwood Healthcare includes Elmwood Adult Day Healthcare, Elmwood Home Care, Home Health, Home Infusion and IntegratIV Medicine by Elmwood Healthcare, and previously included Elmwood Outpatient Orthopedics, all of which have provided, and continue to provide, comprehensive care throughout Rhode Island and Massachusetts.

Mr. Yatskar’s journey into the healthcare field was inspired by his father, a devoted physical education teacher, whose dedication to nurturing others profoundly influenced him. This inspiration led Mr. Yatskar to pursue a career in physical therapy, where he has continuously expanded his impact on community health.

Early in his career, Mr. Yatskar honed his expertise as the owner and Chief Physical Therapist at Atlantis Physical Therapy Group. This role provided him with invaluable experience and a deep understanding of patient care, which he has leveraged in his subsequent endeavors. His educational background further solidified his expertise; he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University, and, motivated by a desire for personal and professional growth, he immigrated to the United States. There, Mr. Yatskar pursued and achieved a Master of Science Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell.

Throughout his career, Mr. Yatskar has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to pushing beyond conventional boundaries and embracing an inquisitive approach to his work.
